A Little Information About West Notts College

West Nottinghamshire College is based within the north of Nottinghamshire. As one of the largest and most successful colleges in the UK, we provide outstanding education and training opportunities for the districts of Mansfield and Ashfield and the surrounding areas.

The College also works with large employers both locally and across the country. In addition, we have recently begun work with colleges in India and aim to open our own vocational centres on the sub-continent in the very near future.

We are widely recognised as one of the most successful colleges within the country and attract well over 20,000 students each year. Our results are consistently high and we enjoy a strong financial position. We have ambitious plans for our future which includes a £96m re-build of accommodation.

In May 2008 we were inspected by Ofsted and were awarded the highest grades possible across the board. The report, published in July 2008, confirms our position in the top flight of all colleges nationally.
